€40 for lunch is hard to justify when the “steak” in tne steak sandwich appeared to be packet sliced beef. The triple decker ham and Brie was equally disappointing — the Brie consisted mostly of thin rind with very little actual cheese, and the ham was sliced so thin it was almost transparent.
The chicken wings at €15 were nothing special and comparable to what you could buy at an ordinary deli counter for a fraction of the price.
I understand restaurants have rising costs, but when prices are this high, customers expect fresh ingredients, decent portions, and quality that matches the menu description. Unfortunately this felt more like overpriced convenience food than a restaurant meal.
On behalf of our coffee shop I would like to apologise for the disappointing meal you've received today. Our fillings for wraps and sandwiches are worth always the price. I will bring this to attention of the owner, but we try to do our meals to a high quality that's worth the price. I can guarantee everything is done fresh and made up to an order. As mentioned we will bring this matter up to everyone's attention and improve on the quality. Hopefully we will see you again and won't disappoint you.
Kind regards,
Manager
